I work on keeping a large-scale platform fast, predictable, and pleasant to operate — the kind of work that’s mostly invisible until it isn’t. Most of my days are split between architecture decisions, smoothing rough edges in production, and the occasional well-aimed deletion of code.

Off the clock I’m a husband and a dad to two daughters. When I’m not refereeing them, I’m usually somewhere on a trail or annoying the neighbours with an electric guitar.
